Outsourced Ring Project

   

    Though I did not have this ring physically outsourced through a company outside of school, I did use this ring design and printed it on our schools Formlabs3 SLA printer as a test for casting non-castable resin for my JWLM class where I would be printing and casting many parts. 

    My design incorporated a knit pattern that features an ever changing twisted yarn throughout the weft. Using twist and then flow this was achieved. This project was especially fun because I was able to test casting cubic zirconias in place.
