3D Castle Model

This week for my Object Fabrication and Design class with the fantastic Bryan Cera, the class was tasked with creating a castle with skills acquired in the first week of class on Rhinosaurus 7, a 3D modeling and design software. Of course, these skills are how to make a curve, extrude a curve to create a surface, move parts along different planes with the help of switching viewports, and helpfully use keyboard shortcuts to navigate and manipulate the shapes. This first week in the program was very new to me as a Jewellery and Metals Major's first time using any modeling software.

Having some background knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, I could visualize what type of commands I would be looking for. I essentially clicked all of the buttons, and out came some makeshift castle that attempted to incorporate skills learned in the week's class.

It's a work in progress, but I will keep coming back with new projects, and fun things to work on that will expand my view of this program.
